Your Choice of Relationship Type

Our Clients are Our Most Valuable Asset

In an effort to constantly improve our quality of service, I have discovered that my clients—while each being individual and distinct—usually fall into one of three relationship levels.

These relationships are:

1) Product Based — for clients who are interested in a product-based relationship.  This is for clients that already know what they need to do and are only interested in purchasing products through me, similiar to a broker.  For this type of service, I am only compensated through commissions from those product sales.  I can provide clients with a complimentary financial review.  I do not, however, provide a written analysis or in-depth recommendations on how they can best reach all of your goals.

2) Planning Based — for clients who have already received a comprehensive written financial plan for a quoted fee.  I would typically meet once or twice a year and every 3-5 years it may be appropriate to do a complete update of a financial plan.  The client and I determine this based on the typical frequency of changes in the client's personal situation.  A fee is charged for each time I do an update to your financial plan.

3) Relationship Based — for clients that want and value a higher level of client service.  This type of client is called relationship based because I would work more closely together to help them monitor and implement their financial plan.  We meet more frequently, typically three of four times a year, in order to reevaluate the client's goals and investment positions, and do regular updates, typically annually.

If there’s one thing I do, it's listen to my clients. And I want to listen to you in order to determine the best way to serve you in the future.
